Mr Yap Ban Seong (PJK, AMN, KMN)<\/p>

The Founder<\/span><\/h3><\/div><\/header>

Ban Chuan was founded in 1950s by Mr Yap Ban Seong (PJK, AMN, KMN) as a groceries store in the town of Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia.<\/p>\n

Mr Yap Ban Seong was also a philanthropist besides a success businessman. He was contributing to Jit Sin School, a famous school in Bukit Mertajam, for over his career life. Mr Yap Ban Seong was from China and never has a chance in education but he believed in education will enrich and make the community better.<\/p>\n

In late of Mr Yap Ban Seong, Ban Chuan and his family have developed an education funds to Jit Sin School to assist students in need to complete their studies. These funds have been continued by Ban Chuan Trading since 1980\u2019s until today which the funds had helped a lot of Jit Sin Students for more than 30 years and still counting.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Ban Chuan Trading Co Sdn Bhd is officially formed in 1962 with various of distributing business. We are as partner for Dutch Lady Malaysia and Heineken Malaysia (then GAB Malaysia) whereby both great companies started business first day in Malaysia. We have been growing together and still moving forward to better future. Meanwhile, with over 50 years of experience in the trading & distribution industry, we are also a qualified petroleum supplier authorised by Petronas Dagangan Berhad and Petron Malaysia Refining and Marketing Berhad in the whole Peninsular Malaysia – Penang, Perlis, Kedah, Perak and etc. We provide professional services with approved licenses by Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi Dan Kepenggunaan.<\/p>\n

In history, Ban Chuan Trading had moving 3 times to bigger building as expansion of business. In 2016, we have moved into Kawasan Perusahaan Perai building with more than 4 acres land and 2 acres of warehouse for our current businesses.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
